Delicious Egyptian food and reasonable price but don't expect to much

Authentic Egyptian cuisine, cooked to perfection... chicken dishes were the best... Desserts were amazing & unique too. Their service was quick & hospitable!

Very friendly and co operative staff can ask for some changes in dish and they would happily do it for you without being irritated. Great options for vegetarian and please try some om ali a dessert which was delicious

We tried a few veg dishes and all were pretty good. One star docked for super slow service!

So... what I bring to the table is 40+ years of eating shawarma sandwiches- a.k.a. the original philly cheesesteak (minus the cheese, of course)- frequently in the country that contains the original Philadelphia (Jordan). Figures it'd be in San Francisco that I found this purveyor of my favorite sammy. The shawarma here was out. Damn. Standing.

Great tasting food and prompt service. A little pricey but I loved the unique cuisine offerings such as moolakayeh and rice. I ordered delivery so can’t comment on dining area.

Had the lamb and beef mixed plate. The quality and taste was fair but the portions are absolutely minuscule.

Pharaoh's is a great place on Geary to get some interesting Egyptian food....although their main catch are Mediterranean wraps, I always go for more traditional Egyptian street food items they make...and possibly only place in bay area. Definitely start off with hawawshy (succulent kefta kebab sandwiched in warm pita bread) and follow up with Koshari, which packs a lot of fresh ingredients and a mean zesty taste. Try molokheya if you want to get really experimental - a jute leaf stew with tons of garlic. I like the simple decor and elements of Egyptian decor. It's very clean and the staff are friendly!

Please come here they are among the BEST food in SF's tenderloin!!! Want a solid meal that will warm you up? They got it. Want a late night munch after some drinks? This is THE place! PS you MUST have their baklava :)

Awesome food, clean, very fast service, and super friendly staff. Perfect for a meal after a show at the theater next door. We dropped by on valentine's day, it was great!

Tasty, big choice including vegetarian, open late, good price. The place we were going was closed as it was after 11pm, we had to find another place, we just walked and noticed this great restaurant, we had to wait for food around 15 mins, it's not fast food style.. It's nice middeteranian food.. hummus, babaganush, kebab, falafel etc.. The restaurant looks small and simple, but food is very good. I took Pharaoh falafel wrap, it was excellent. Would come here again!

Terribly overpriced, but not more than a street food joint for the quality of food. SF in general is overrated but this restaurant is not 5 star. I promise you

A preferred place for delicious Egyptian food. Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. Definitely worth going back to. This place has a nice atmosphere.

I've been to MANY Mediterranean restaurants and this is my absolute go-to. Not overly greasy and packed with delicious flavor. The prices are very fair too.If you enjoy eggplants, you have to try their eggplant dish! It's kinda oily but very good! I just wish they served it hot and not cold.

The hawowshi were so delicious, just how they’re made in Egypt. The molokhia and koshari were also excellent. Very glad we found this place.

I love this place!! It's cozy and welcoming inside, the staff is very attentive, and most importantly - the food is delicious! I highly recommend the zucchini cakes, they are outstanding.

Take out Egyptian food done right! The flavor is perfect...Don't worry about the wait, although it takes the normal 15min to show up from the oven, the Om Ali is spot on Alexandrian style.

Very interesting twist too Mediterranean food. Hummus usually isn’t added into shawarmas but this lamb and beef wrap had hummus layered in and it was very interesting. Meat was nice and tender and the wrap/shawarma was definitely very filling!

I'm so happy that we stumbled upon this place. Their menu has some authentic Egyptian fast food items, and they were executed perfectly (trust me). The hawawshi must be tried. Prices are good for being in San Francisco.

Absolutely amazing. Authentic Egyptian food. We ordered several different items and they were to die for. The Koshary was my favorite thing. I felt like I was actually in Egypt. Music playing, great Manager Nabil.

This place is incredible. I would highly recommend this to anyone passing through San Francisco. Excellent food, excellent real vibe and experience. Just, it's not super San Francisco which I get could be a turn off for some, there were touristy folks who took one step inside and it was just too Mediterranean for them, but c'mon, it's authentic amazing food.

The most delicious place to eat specially when you have a bad day!

One of my favorites, the staff has gently encouraged me to try new dishes to me. I enjoy both the meat and vegetarian dishes.

Loved the food! We tried the Molokhyeh with Rice and the mixed grill and it was magnificent! The falafel was also very fresh and fluffy!

So far so good! The food need more improvement like slightly less salt, and not using a lot of spices as not going great to everyone taste. Customer service educated, very friendly and helpful.

Pretty good option for some Mediterranean food in a pinch. Service is friendly, and the lamb/beef shawarma is serviceable if not life changing. They also provide some pickled vegetables, which is a nice bonus.

Incredibly delicious, unique flavors, no-frills interior and location but beautiful decor! And the fella behind the counter was a pleasure to interact with. And cheap prices on top of it all?! Very worth traversing the Tenderloin for :)

I didn't want to pay that much to eat but when I took my 1st bite It was so good I didn't think about the price anymore... so good!!!

Perfect late night bite and great location being near so many good bars. I highly recommend the King Tut fries above anything else
